Ride Well Introduction Clinic

If you are new to riding or returning to the saddle after many years, this course is designed to give you confidence with correct horsemanship techniques. You will acquire knowledge of horse behaviors and ground training. English or western riding will be taught and the walk and trot is the main focus. Training in arena as well as outdoor trail training course is available.

Ride Well Novice Clinic
This clinic is designed for riders to take you a step further with your balance and communication. You will refine your balance to become a more secure and confident rider. If you’re not cantering yet, this clinic can get you started or prepare you for the canter in the future. Training on the outdoor trail course as well as the arena is included in this clinic.

Ride Well Experienced Clinic

This clinic will allow you to master canter training with confidence and control. Fun under saddle and in hand (agility) training courses are used throughout the clinic. You will be taught how to recognize horse behaviors and how to achieve a balanced willing horse for recreational riding, or to get you started in, or bring you back to the show ring. Riders can spend time on the outdoor trail training course as well as in the arena.

Ride Well Dressage Clinic

This is a clinic welcoming riders of all breeds of horses to improve their skills at english or western dressage. This clinic is for riders who are new to the sport of dressage and/or want to show and be competitive at Training, First or Second Levels. You will learn how to ride training figures in dressage test, correct transitions, correct balance/ frame of the horse and how to ride a test with accuracy.

Customized Program

This clinic is for those who have studied Palm Partnership Training for two or more years. The personalized classes and curriculum will be based upon the needs of the riders and their horses. A horse has to be balanced in order to travel across the ground easily and perform correctly. This clinic will teach you how to put your horse in balance through learning to control his body position. You will experience how fun and rewarding it is to ride a balanced horse and the first step to learning real collection. Lateral and collection training, lead changes and training for the all-around show ring events, trails and over fences are some of the topics offered.

Ride Well Trail Training Clinic

Do you need confidence riding outside a ring? Does your horse need training for hills, bridges, water, and outside noises? Give your young horses a great confidence builder! Come train “in a ring” with real outdoor trail obstacles! 3 different bridges - even a 16’ high bridge to ride over and under! There are also hills, banks, water obstacles and logs of all kinds. Learn to “Ride Well” for the trail with real terrain training with us in a ring at our farm!
