Talent, Truly Beautiful, Terrific Outcross
Rugged Painted Lark is by the world-famous 2-time
Superhorse, Rugged Lark, and out of Prissy Companion, an APHA Palomino/Tobiano
mare. Nicknamed "Bruce," after the famous actor Bruce
Willis, you'll fall in love with this stallion who is as talented
and handsome as his namesake! Lynn admires the special breed
characteristics that Rugged Painted Lark shows for a breeding stallion.
The correctness of his conformation spells a true athlete. His color
is vibrant and very unique, making him stand out from the crowd.
His wide, flat forehead, large dark kind eye, sharp ear, and shallow
mouth spell intelligence and trainability-just like his dad Rugged
Lark.
Bruce
has had limited showing in the roping events by Ted Chancey from
Florida and Bobbie Lewis in Texas. He has successfully been shown
in Heading, Heeling, Steer Stopping, and Calf Roping. His showing
has been limited due to other commitments that Bruce has had. I
have needed him to travel to about 15 horse expos per year and take
over his brother's, My Royal Lark, bridleless musical performances!
We have developed even a more special performance then with his
father, Rugged Lark, and his brother. We do one song in the western
saddle with reining and dressage movements, then switch to the hunt
seat saddle and do dressage and jumping movements without the bridle!
It is very unique and we are very proud to showcase the unique abilities
of western, dressage, and jumping as well as demonstrate Dressage
Principles that apply to all disciplines! Most of all we are very
proud to show a happy horse while performing!
Also, to keep
Bruce busy he has been a feature horse on our RFDTV shows. We have
gotten so many bookings from this and everyone loves him! They especially
love his thick, beautiful black and white tail!
I plan to show
this horse, as I know that he has the capability to be competitive
for the Super Horse at the Paint World Show. I just need two years
to get him out in the competition public. He now could compete in
the 4 roping events, Trail, Western Riding, Hunter Hack, Pleasure
Driving, Utility Driving, Working Cow Horse and Reining! I will
keep you in touch as to our show plans.

a great record on producing color! These percentages are based on
34 foals.
