Limited to 15 riders with Lynn and Cyril instructing
Dressage Principles for Western Horses is a concept that Lynn and Cyril
have used in their teaching for years. The goal is that improving the rider
will improve the training of the horse. The progression of the levels in
dressage makes for a long term partnership. In these two days of
instruction, riders will prepare to ride a test. Whether for competition or to
improve their relationship, each rider will learn to ride through transitions,
figures and maneuvers to work in harmony with her horse to ride a test.
The option to ride a test and be judged is made possible in Sunday’s show.
This clinic is open to all breeds and to riders from Introductory to Level 3.
The curriculum includes ground and under saddle sessions, theory,
demonstration and video review. The all-inclusive package begins with
arrival on Thursday afternoon for an early evening meet and greet.
Instruction, meals, lodging and stabling for one horse and rider Friday
morning through Saturday at 4 pm is included. Additional lessons, lodging

While Lynn and Cyril teach all clinics using dressage principles, this 4 day
program has a dual purpose. English and Western riders new to the discipline
will learn the fundamentals that apply to all levels, the benefits of riding with
correctness and accuracy through dressage figures and the control from
precise transitions and rhythmical gaits. For riders who want to reach a new
level in the discipline, let Lynn’s & Cyril's years of experience competing &
coaching in Dressage offer simple and practical solutions to overcome
challenges and achieve those goals.
