Alliance Hunt Seat & Dressage Saddles by Lynn Palm
Custom Designed by Forestier Saddlery, Segonzac, France

Alliance Hunt SaddleALLIANCE means Partnership in French. Lynn Palm and Cyril Pittion-Rossillon of Palm Partnership Training TM have partnered with Forestier Saddlery to design a very unique Hunt Seat and Dressage saddle. Over the years, Lynn and Cyril have experienced many challenges in finding the right English saddles that would fit Quarter Horses, Paints, and other stock horse breeds. Most saddles would be too narrow, pinch the horse's shoulders, slide back or be unbalanced. The majority of English saddles today are designed for Thoroughbreds and Warmblood breeds. These saddles fit horses with high withers and narrow shoulders and backs. We felt a strong need for designing a saddle that would fit a horse with low and/or non existing withers, broad shoulders and wide backs.

Cyril and Lynn are very fortunate to be associated with Forestier Saddlery, one of the oldest saddle makers in France. Their European traditions, craftsmanship, and knowledge are unequaled. When you sit in a Forestier saddle you will immediately feel comfort and balance. Your seat will slide in place effortlessly and your legs stretch down in a natural position, balanced on the flaps.

Alliance Dressage SaddleAlliance saddles by Lynn Palm, have an innovative tree design that is the first of its type offered on the market today. This special saddle tree allows the front panels to contour perfectly to the wide and rounded shouldered horse. This original design brings tremendous comfort to the horse as the front panels rest flat on the shoulders distributing equal pressure from top to bottom. For the comfort of the horse's back, the gullet is extra wide to permit enough clearance and the paneling provides ample cushioning and balance. The Alliance saddles only use the highest grade of French calf leather to provide you with the greatest comfort and durability. The leather is beautiful, soft and supple. These saddles and their unique saddle trees are fabricated and assembled at the Forestier Saddlery in Segonzac, France. We guarantee that every Alliance saddle is made 100% in France.

Hi Cyril and Lynn,
Thanks for the saddles. I have finally gotten a chance to ride in both of them several times. I hit the ground running with the hunt seat one. The day it arrived I had a lesson over fences then showed at the State Fair. My colt was really good considering he had never jumped inside and really this was only his second "course" of fences. He is just so green and athletic that he played too much between fences, and actually he didn't really start to jump well and pay attention until the fences were raised to 3 foot. Farley helped me that morning and we were standing by the ingate as they were raising the fences-she asked if I had ever jumped him 3 foot and I said no, she asked if I was SURE I wanted to do this class (amateur OF) and I said sure. He wasn't backed off a bit-like I said, he actually jumped better and paid attention. Of course he was one of the only horses on the show ground with his head above his withers,,,,,,,,of well. We didn't even go in the undersaddle-and I doubt we ever will because he does not look like the typical QH.

OK, here's my feelings on the saddles. I ADORE the dressage model. It is very comfy for me, easy to pad. They are both a little wide but we discussed that and we (Cyril and I) both agreed that we would prefer the saddle a little wider considering that Magic is just 5 and should fill out a lot more. So, the dressage model is great. The workmanship on both saddles is exemplary, the leather, the stitching, etc-fantastic. I have also included some pictures of Magic and the saddles. I have taught him some tricks and we were just having fun this AM. The kneeling picture is him saying that he prayed for the Alliance saddles and the sitting one is him saying that he just likes to sit around and admire his new saddles. (I am such an Amateur....)

Thanks again to both of you, and I am thrilled to be promoting your beautiful saddles.

Later,
Cricket and Magic

Good morning Cyril,
I continue to love my new Alliance. It fits my horse and I both like a glove. I never knew an English saddle could allow me to feel so solid and secure, or that a new saddle could be so comfortable. I have received numerous compliments on the look, feel and quality of it. Few have followed through on my offer to try it out, but those who have liked it very much.

I would be honored to have you use me in any promotions. Except for that first show in September - ride #2 and #3 in my Alliance which I believe I already told you about, I have not been able to show and now unfortunately, my show season is now over so I will have no more horse show success stories until next year, but I will keep you posted on any results.

Thanks once again - I could not be happier with my Alliance and neither could my horse!

Hi everyone,
The saddle fits him beautifully. We do not, however, have any of the suggested oils at the tack shops here, so I just ordered it. I figured if I waited this long and carried it all the way home, I could wait a little longer and do the oil protection properly. I bought some new stirrup leathers to match so they will darken the same. My old ones needed replacing anyway.

Everyone loves the feel of the leather and have been asking where I got it. I have given your web address to two folks that said they just could not get saddles to fit, so I hope they follow up.

Please say hi to Cyril and let him know we love the saddle.

I hope everyone is enjoying the week off. Best of luck with your shows, clinics, and expos and I look forward to seeing you in Michigan.
