Directions to Royal Palm Ranch
To
get to Royal Palm Ranch, you need to start from Hwy 2. On Hwy
2, just on
the West side
of Bessemer, you
will notice a large billboard that says “SKI BIG POWDERHORN
MOUNTAIN” and has a huge fiberglass skier next
to it. This will be on the North side of Hwy 2. At that sign,
you
turn north on Powderhorn Road. Once on Powderhorn Road, you
will follow it to the main ski lodge, which will be on your
left. Note that the road is on a downhill grade and the main
lodge is at the bottom. From Hwy 2, the main lodge is approximately
2 ½ miles. At the main lodge you will take the road that
curves to the right. This will still be Powderhorn Road. Just
after making the curve, there will be a stop sign and railroad
tracks. Cross the tracks and continue on this road until it
ends (approximately ¼ mile). At the end of Powderhorn
Road, you will make a left turn onto Black River Road, and
the Royal Palm Ranch is 2 miles on your left.
